"BARDS WITHOUT BORDERS" KICKS OFF

400 YEARS SHAKESPEARE ANNIVERSARY

10  International poets show their mettle at Hackney Showrooms
Finally after few sessions of building and creating the public was entertained.  Quite a jovial, supportive, beautiful audience...
Audience chilling before getting  in

Entrance to Hackney Showroom on Amhurst Terrace, Stoke Newington

Looking forward to further gigs as we expand our writing, rhythms, melodies, self expression and music. The Tongue Fu band was simply amazing. Led by the talented, charismatic Chris Redmond.
It was a pleasure performing with such sensitive musicians. As a musician I felt at home.

 The poets....in order of appearance

In the semi dark , fluorescent, poetically lighted room, the aftermath of the concert. Tom Green of  Counter Points Arts checks out feedback from both audience and the performing artists. Very healthy indeed. William Shakespeare would have been curious too.
